Julie Davies, Resource Navigator

[email protected]
Julie joined ABIN in September 2014 as the Resource Navigator. She has worked for a variety of non profit agencies in Anchorage, as well as the Anchorage School District. A long time Alaska resident, Julie received her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University and is also licensed in the state of Alaska as a Professional Counselor.   Although not a brain injury survivor herself, Julie has several close family members who have experienced brain injury.  She has seen first hand the resiliency of the human spirit as her loved ones find successful ways of being in the world and holds great respect not only for those who live with brain injuries, but for those who care for and support them as well. Julie loves to be active in nature and especially enjoys hiking, running, biking and xc skiing and always has a big stack of books at her side to read. She looks forward to working with and helping brain injury survivors and their families access  services that will help them in their recovery journey.
